Welcome to the onboarding video tutorials for the Automax Inspection app. In this first video, we're going to be installing TestFlight and then using that to install the Automax Inspection app public beta. TestFlight is an app from Apple that allows users like yourself to publicly beta test apps that are currently in development, like the Automax Inspection app.
Before we get started, please take a moment to confirm that you are using either an iPhone or an iPad that is equipped with a LiDAR sensor. The easiest way to do this is to look at the camera modules on the back of your device. There should be a flat black circle, which is the LiDAR sensor that we're going to use when scanning the interior of the property.
With that out of the way, let's get started. On your device, open the app store and search for TestFlight. Click install and wait for the app to finish installing.
Once installation is complete, open the TestFlight app and agree to the respective privacy settings and click continue on the introduction screen. Great, TestFlight is now set up. Next, open the camera app on your device and scan this QR code.
When scanning in the camera app, a yellow bubble with the word TestFlight will pop up near the bottom. Click on this bubble to open the Automax page in TestFlight. From this page, click install to install the Automax app and wait for the app to install.
Once the installation is complete, you can go back to your home screen where you should now see an app with the Automax logo. Clicking this should open the Automax app. Do this now to confirm that the Automax app was installed on your device successfully.
